Founded in 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio, CLEANLIFE®’s mission is "Finding a Better Way™" to illuminate the world with a focus on LED lighting as a cleaner, more versatile, and more energy-efficient alternative to traditional lighting. Our IoT division, CLEANLIFE® Smart, is developing connected lighting technologies that create productive, comfortable and healthy living environments. CLEANLIFE® Smart Lighting products allow consumers to control lighting and other aspects of their home with their smart devices for a truly personalized lighting experience. Our decorative lighting division, UltraLux® Lighting, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of high-end, energy-efficient LED light fixtures and vintage-style LED light bulbs for the consumer and residential markets.
In 2020, CLEANLIFE® expanded into PPE products by becoming the USA national distributor of NIOSH-approved ultra-breathable Champak N95 Respirators which are manufactured in Taiwan with patented pleated fabric material. This new product line lead to the invention of patented UVC LED technology (USA patent number 10,994,037) that has been tested and proven to eliminate up to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) and H1N1 (Influenza). CLEANLIFE® UVC germicidal lighting products are sold under the VitaLight™ brand.
CLEANLIFE® CEO Justin Miller has been a serial entrepreneur and businessman since he was 13 years old and always had an eye for trends in innovation. He founded CLEANLIFE® in 2011, while studying abroad in China, where he learned about the manufacturing process of fluorescent lamps, which involves toxic mercury vapors. A chance introduction to a new eco-friendly technology called light emitting diodes (LED) sent him on his new path of making fluorescent technology obsolete.
Over the last decade that dream has grown into a global enterprise that manufactures highly customized LED lighting solutions for clients such as, Exxon Mobil Corp., Hilton, IHG, Marriott International, Pepsi, The Coca-Cola Company, Walmart Inc., Wendy’s, Wynn Resorts, and other Fortune 100 businesses, as well as products for the consumer market available through national retailers such as Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, Amazon and Wayfair.
