Recessed Lighting
Recessed lighting is designed to provide general, task and accent lighting in a very subtle manner. The light fixture is mounted flush with a ceiling, wall or floor to minimize its obtrusiveness within the space and blend in with the surrounding architecture. Recessed luminaires are a real workhorse in delivering lumens for architectural lighting applications that require the visibility of luminaires to be deliberately toned down in favor of the environmental visibility and spatial experience.
Downlights are a staple of recessed lighting in commercial, residential, and hospitality buildings. They sit flush with the surface in flanged or trimless styles and direct a symmetrical or asymmetrical beam of light at an appropriate angle for spotlighting, floodlighting or wallwashing applications.
