Aircraft Lighting
Aircraft lighting is designed to facilitate safety, address operational needs and provide convenience of passengers. An
aircraft lighting system consists of interior and exterior lighting subsystems. The external lighting subsystem comes with
navigation lights,
beacon and strobe lights,
taxi lights,
runway turnoff lights,
landing lights,
wing inspection lights, ice detection probe lights, search lights, formation lights, and
logo lights. The interior lighting subsystem provides
cockpit lighting, instruments and panel lighting,
cabin lighting, passenger compartment general illumination,
emergency lighting, and cargo compartment lighting.
