We are formalighting, a family-run, international manufacturer of beautiful indoor and outdoor architectural lights. First established in London in the late 1960s and directed by an experienced, personable founding partner - Lorenzo Maghnagi - our passion for Italian design and lighting are embedded in formalighting’s DNA.
With over 50 years and two generations dedicated to the design and application of innovative, solutions-orientated luminaires, our vision for architectural lighting in the commercial project specification market has evolved with us.
This has led us to many firsts: we were one of the first European lighting companies to open a wholly-owned ISO certified factory in China and the first to incorporate dynamic beam shaping technology and IoT compatible sensors into our architectural lighting fixtures.
Our vision for architectural lighting in the commercial project specifications market evolved, making formalighting one of the first European lighting companies to open its own, wholly-managed ISO certified factory in China by the late 1990's, and in recent years, one of the first lighting companies to incorporate dynamic beam shaping technology and IoT compatible sensors into our Italian designed architectural lighting fixtures.
