A division of the Lighting Industry Association, it specialises in providing support to the market for Emergency Lighting requirements.

In the UK, ICEL experts represent the industry on BSI product and application standards committees, various government consultative groups and works closely with the FIA (Fire Industry Association). Internationally, experts from ICEL contribute significantly to the development of amendments to existing standards and the drafting of new standards for emergency lighting products and applications.
