The Interior Design Show is Canada’s premier showcase of new products and furniture, superstar designers and avant-garde concepts from North America and beyond. Over the last 20+ years, IDS has become both a catalyst and authority for Canadian design. During those two decades, we’ve witnessed a lot of change. Yesterday’s designer has become today’s problem solver and tomorrow’s visionary. Designers now create experiences at the intersection of technological and social problems, imagining new roads to alternative realities. As these imagined futures come into view, so does a vision that is exciting and full of promise.

The Interior Design Show has established itself as the breeding ground for design creativity, innovation and inspiration, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors each year. Following the pandemic, global events changed shipping, manufacturing and pricing. Alongside these phenomena, society has accepted and realized the urgency of the climate crisis – yet another factor re-framing consumer choices.

IDS brings people together to experience the power of design. IDS celebrates and promotes design in Canada and around the world. IDS is held annually for 4 days, the 3rd week of January in Toronto, Canada. IDS engages our creative community year round through our digital and social channels; continuously moving the conversation of the power of design forward.
