A stalwart in the community, AM Studio is renowned for its bespoke fused glass, metal and porcelain products – fabricated in nearby Concord, Ontario – as well as its curated selection of fixtures from such world-class European manufacturers as Bomma, Brokis, Lasvit, and Vibia, From California Siemon & Salazar.
Giora Meyer, a co-founder of AM Studio, has managed his family’s glass studio for over 20 years. Originating in Israel, Giora saw an opportunity to bring the company’s artisanal and unique glass technology to the North American market. In 2007, with Orly Meyer, they opened AM Studio in Toronto. Together they serve the trade and public at their custom lighting showroom on 80 Kincort St.
AM Studio is a versatile lighting studio that is oriented around customization. We create light fixtures, chandeliers, wall sconces and pendants by following each customer’s individual specifications. We take into consideration the customer’s budget, spatial dimensions, architecture, furniture and colour scheme in order to provide the perfect product. Work with us.
AM Studio’s exclusive lighting collection is unique and innovative. A brief browse through our Gallery will introduce you to modern concepts about how best to illuminate your space. Allow us to inspire and generate ideas with you – we are happy to collaborate. For instance, you may imagine a chandelier over your dining table or in the foyer and would like something unique. Consider then our Alba Ring – an elegant and graceful interpretation of the everyday crystal chandelier. Or perhaps you’re thinking outside the box. Customers are encouraged to send us images of their spaces, drawings of their projects, as well as any additional specifications (such as ceiling height, table or island size, and staircase dimensions). This information will assist us in estimating the optimal size of the light fixture, number of pendants, and bulb type.
