Founded in 2008 in California; Meteor Lighting offers LED Luminaires that are high performing, aesthetic and versatile. We do this by building our luminaires through precise engineering and lighting knowhow that translates into small form factor luminaires that pack a punch. Meteor is a technology driven company with several patents and patent pending technologies like Colorflip™ Color tuning, the VX™ Driver and Power Line technology. We try to keep every advanced lighting solution in-house to deliver quality products that are innovative whilst offering customization options with great customer service.

Our vast product and lumen range portfolio serves a multitude of applications such as Colleges, Sports stadiums, Retail, Convention Centers, Churches, K-12 Schools, Corporate Spaces and Outdoor Landscapes. Our focus is in the development of key innovative technologies that push the boundaries and bring practical solutions to complex problems in the lighting industry. The company's design approach has been validated by several industry recognitions such as the IES Progress Report Awards, PIA awards from Architectural SSL magazine and Next Generation Luminaires Awards.

Meteor has partnered with BIOS, a NASA spin-off to offer a variety of luminaires integrated with their SkyBlue® circadian solutions to produce the healthy "blue sky" light signal needed to stimulate human circadian biology. This is an evolution of the technology used to help astronauts achieve healthy sleep patterns on the International Space Station.

Meteor utilizes the latest in flip-chip technology to offer high efficacy Tunable white, Warm Dim and W+RGB Color Tuning solutions. This proprietary patent-pending technology is developed in-house at our labs in California and is a cost-effective solution to all color tuning solutions.

A majority of color tuning projects face the difficulty of cost. This is because conventional methods require specifying several fixtures to attain the desired effect. Our Color Tuning technology costs only 20% per fixture, applied across all color tuning options of Tunable White, Warm Dim and W+RGB.

The Power Line System is an innovative mounting option that both powers and suspends the fixture. This field adjustable system works exactly the same as your typical adjustable cables, but at the heart, lies a copper core that feeds power straight to the gripper. The system completely eliminates the need for an AC power cable for that perfect aesthetic touch in quite ceiling projects.

Every one of our products are embedded with our own proprietary patent-pending VX Driver that allows for flicker-free dimming. Whether your specification requires 0 – 10 V or DMX, our embedded driver is compatible with all dimming functions in the market. Our technology combats flickering by using our proprietary technology into the VX driver that increases the frequency of light at a much higher rate than visible to the naked eye as well as modern day recording equipments.

Meteor outdoor solar luminaires are installed in a variety of visual landscapes to provide aesthetic accent and way-finding illumination. We understand that every product will be subject to hard conditions, physical stress and temperature fluctuations. That is why good design and functional quality is embedded in every product.
