Valoya Oy is now a part of Greenlux Lighting Solutions after the merger between Greenlux Finland Oy and Valoya Oy. Greenlux Finland Oy is a pioneer in advanced LED lighting solutions in Finland. The strengths of the company are high technical knowledge and flexible customer-oriented planning and production of general lighting. Both R&D and manufacturing are in the same facility, in Finland, which enables high-quality customer service within a tight schedule.

Valoya Oy is a provider of high-end, energy-efficient LED grow lights for use in crop science, vertical farming, and medicinal plants cultivation. Valoya LED grow lights have been developed using Valoya’s proprietary LED technology and extensive plant photobiology research. Valoya’s customer base includes numerous vertical farms, greenhouses, and research institutions all over the world (including 8 out of 10 world’s largest agricultural companies).

Through light we deliver increases in yield and quality, energy savings and enable new plant growing applications. The core in our technology is the research based light spectrum which is a result of years of extensive research, countless trials and great amounts of feedback and support from our customers. Our light is richer in its amount of colors than generic LEDs for horticulture, traditional greenhouse lights or fluorescent lights.

Valoya is the leading provider of LED grow lights for crop science applications such as plant breeding, crop protection and research. For plant breeding purposes, Valoya provides luminaires and spectra for seed breeding companies (e.g. KWS, Limagrain and Syngenta) that facilitate rapid generation cycles in wheat, barley and other cereals’ production. This is a significant contribution to the efficiency of food production for the ever-increasing global population.

We serve all customer segments of professional plant cultivation. Most major seed companies use our lights to breed the plants that will in the future feed the planet. Crop protection companies use our products in their development of new substances to minimize crop loss to pests and diseases.
