MinebeaMitsumi's lighting and optical technology brings years of expertise in the manufacturing of light guiding panels for LED backlights used in smart devices. Taking advantage of this expertise, we developed a 1mm thin lens for LED lights, and used core components such as motors, power supplies, wireless technology and others, to develop a one of a kind product for the lighting market.
The name "SALIOT" was derived from the initial letters of "Smart Adjustable Light for the Internet Of Things". The concept is innovating lighting for IoT utilizing wireless technology.
Applying our wireless technologies, we developed proprietary software enabling users to easily control the light distribution angle, brightness, color temperature and illumination position up/down/left/right with a smartphone or tablet. Capable of controlling up to 100 units simultaneously through Bluetooth Mesh®.
SALIOT products are mainly designed for commercial facilities (shopping centers, apparel related shops), show rooms (car dealers), museums/art museums, educational facilities, event spaces, hotels, in high ceilings and large places, etc.
