Founded in 2017 as an R&D-driven LED grow lights company, Kroptek expanded its activities to commercial projects with fully integrated engineering and production facilities. Today, Kroptek offers Controlled Environment Agriculture solutions and develops Sustainable Farming projects thanks to its UK-based team with an international reach.
Technology to provide high-quality, organic-grade crops anywhere in the world, any time of the year at the lowest possible cost to consumers and the environment. Working with selected partners, Kroptek is constantly developing controlled-environment agriculture solutions, such as vertical farming, indoor farming, greenhouses, and medical plant cultivation.

With our team cumulating decades of expertise in LED lights engineering and plant biology research, we offer proven-performance light recipes. Our spectrums optimise the development and maximise the yield of a large variety of crops, at all stages of their growth cycle.
Kroptek’s approach is to refine our spectrums from regular feedback from commercial growers as well as in-house trials and university-led research. Multiple trials on a variety of plant types during different growth phases have allowed us to collect the data needed to fine-tune a series of 5 spectra, based on the most common horticultural needs.
We have also developed fully customised spectrum options to suit the individual needs of growers. Kroptek has also developed spectrums that incorporate UV-A and UV-B light.
Kroptek develops solutions for several crops and growing environments. In the past 3 years, it has developed its own container farms and R&D farms. Kroptek also earned grant funding for its R&D activities. Kroptek can advise on the optimal controlled environment solution for your needs.
Kroptek is developing its capabilities to offer Farming as a Service to its clients. Kroptek pilot operations in France and Canada are developing into a turnkey solution offering high-quality crops grown sustainably.
