Escofet is a Barcelona-based company which, through the design and industrialisation of urban elements and architectural concrete, transforms cities and promotes the use of public space. The company was born and raised in Barcelona, a showcase of its work and creativity. From our home city we internationally project Escofet's Mediterranean character as attested by our presence in avenues, parks, streets, squares and boulevards throughout the world.
We create urban landscapes by merging different fields of activity in projects created by architects, designers and landscapers: Urban Life for optimising the use of urban elements in concrete, wood and other materials; Lighting for lighting solutions in public space; Walking for the creation and design of paving and mobility elements; and Building for architectural concrete pieces and projects.
Throughout its history, Escofet has been an innovative and pioneering company in the production of concrete elements for public spaces and buildings. Always at the forefront in the development of new formulations, currently offers the widest range of urban elements, with an extensive chart of materials and finishes.
Our design, engineering and production staff apply technology and experience gained over several generations, through constant innovation of materials, processes and moulds, offering a great capacity to develop singular and customized projects. Both in moulded concrete and other materials, such as wood, cast iron, plastic and metal, we extend our business lines to the field of multi-material street furniture and lighting. In this way, Escofet provides support to architects and landscape designers, giving shape to their projects and offering them a catalogue of urban elements suitable for universal use.
Cities do not sleep. When the sun sets and the light fades, Lighting helps us to enjoy the other face of the city: its nightlife. Street lamps, columns and pathway lights illuminate and mark public spaces for their night time use.
