Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and marketing of a broad portfolio of high performance analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing (DSP) integrated circuits (ICs) used in virtually all types of electronic equipment. Analog Devices, Inc. operates at the center of the modern digital economy, converting real-world phenomena into actionable insight with its comprehensive suite of analog and mixed signal, power management, radio frequency (RF), and digital and sensor technologies. ADI serves 125,000 customers worldwide with more than 75,000 products in the industrial, communications, automotive, and consumer markets.

Analog Devices is driving advanced features and high performance in the next generation of intelligent lighting technology solutions with our portfolio of lighting IC products, including wireless solutions, LED drivers, intelligent occupancy sensors, and energy measurement. These can create innovative and differentiated LED lighting technology solutions. For example, in both indoor and outdoor lighting needs, technologies such as mSure can measure and calibrate energy at the point of use, allowing for real time lighting services to be provided.

Analog Devices has a very broad line of LED driver ICs for automotive, display backlighting, handheld, and general high-power lighting applications. They are configured as either inductorless (charge pump) or switching regulator-based LED drivers that support driving white LEDs in series, parallel or combination. Topologies include boost regulator, buck regulator, buck/boost, SEPIC topology LED drivers, and more. Regardless of topology, these ICs offer the highest efficiency, lowest noise, and the smallest footprints. Other features of our portfolio include integrated Schottky diodes, accurate LED current matching, and multiple output capability.

Analog Devices buck-boost LED drivers allow LED bias when the input voltage is either above or below the LED voltage. Analog Devices has a very broad line of LED drivers for backlighting applications. They are configured as either inductorless white LED drivers (for LEDs in parallel), or inductor-based white LED drivers (for LEDs in series). Analog Devices current sink LED driver portfolio provides current control for multiple LEDs and protects LEDs and power supplies against thermal events, short circuits, overvoltage, and open circuit faults. Analog Devices’ offline LED driver portfolio includes devices with active power factor correction (PFC) specifically designed for driving LEDs from a universal input range of 90 VAC to 265 VAC.
