A warm dimming LED strip light, or dim-to-warm LED strip light, warm glow dimming LED strip light, is designed to accurately reproduce the “warm glow” dimming characteristics of incandescent lamps. It is a linear assembly of SMD LED packages comprised of at least two different LED primaries. Adjusting the amount of drive current delivered to each of the two LED primaries will simultaneously change the light output and tune the overall correlated color temperature (CCT) of the light strip. The gradual shift in CCT over the course of dimming creates a warm, cozy and intimate ambience that is highly appreciated in hospitality and residential environments. To accurately follow the dimming curve of incandescent lamps, multiple LED primaries or an RGBW color mixing system are used.
