A timeless and elegant solution for outdoor environments, Sebastian Herkner evokes a sense of nostalgia with his new take on the classic lamppost. Combining the refined aesthetic of a floor lamp with the functional performance of a bollard, Class consists of a robust aluminium shaft and fluted cylindrical glass diffuser, which bathes the surrounding space in a gentle glow.

Outdoor lighting tends to be separated into two main categories: independent, decorative luminaires that have transitioned from the indoor environment, and urban, architectural lighting that you’ll find illuminating a walkway or integrated into the structure of a space. Class merges these two typologies: rather than silently integrating into the outdoor environment, it stands handsome and proud, radiating with soft, enveloping light thanks to the LEDs encased within its diffuser.

Pure in form, the fixture’s striking presence is characterised by a durable shaft with an industrial aesthetic that curves gracefully over to embrace the diffuser from above and below. The matte black of the aluminium contrasts with the smooth surface of the glass, resulting in a satisfying combination of textures.

The diffuser, made of translucent glass, is defined by even grooves that allow the light to pass softly through it, producing a comfortable diffuse light for transitional environments. Remote dimming control means the designer can adapt the luminaire’s intensity, shaping the ideal atmosphere according to its intended use.

Class is available as a wall sconce or floor lamp of various heights and with a choice of individual or double asymmetrical diffusers. Surface mounted, the driver remains neatly hidden from view across the collection.

Designed to give a little sway with the breeze, the taller free standing luminaire is over two metres in height and floods the surrounding space with light from above. The two shorter models, less than a metre in height, project a soft radiance from below. The wall sconce completes the collection, designed to wash vertical surfaces with a comfortable glow.

Designed by Francisco Gomez Paz, Vibia’s new Africa collection combines cultural significance, richness of form and materiality, and high performance lighting capabilities. Defined by a slender, conical stem that leads to a neat head, the luminaire invites you to reach out and grasp it.

First and foremost an object of desire, this portable lamp stands out for its finesse in aesthetics, creating an unmistakable connection with ancient artistic practices. Poetic and sleek, Africa explores beauty, functionality and the essence of humanity.

The anthropological quality of its silhouette creates a striking statement in any kind of space, from public libraries or hotel entrances to residential projects. When multiple luminaires are grouped together, the design comes to life with new compositional value, one figure becoming a pair, a family, a community.

Shaped from a single unit of pure aluminum, this mono-materiality lends Africa a certain weight and technical quality associated with high-end industrial processes. The density of its shaft and head is balanced by a counterweight at the base, providing stability while granting the elegance of an elongated neck. Controlled by a simple push button at the head, its changeable LED light source provides three levels of intensity, seamlessly adapting to the user’s desire.

Available in two sizes, its lacquered matte texture and four natural tones bring warmth and tangibility to this fixture’s design – the perfect companion for detailed task work thanks to a high-flow lighting.
