[Horizon]

From 15th to 21st April 2024, the world's leading international design event returned to the streets of Milan. This year, Vibia invited guests to experience how we design “Atmospheres of Wellbeing” through a carefully curated exhibition of our new and iconic collections.

“Shaping Atmospheres” showcased Vibia’s indoor and outdoor collections installed throughout Lom Dopolavoro’s expansive interior and grounds where traditional materials, such as wood and brick, merge with new technologies. Designed to evoke different emotions, the focus of each space was on the creation of beautiful, enveloping atmospheres that enhance human wellbeing.

Also, we've been delighted to host a private event, “Vibia + Friends”, offering key industry partners and media an exclusive opportunity to explore the exhibition.

 

[Horizon]

During the 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Denmark, Vibia presented a brand new exhibition, “Instantánea”. "Instantánea” celebrates the beauty of everyday life, exploring how light can shape our perceptions and emotions, turning fleeting moments into lasting memories. A unique collaboration between Note Design Studio and Vibia, it is an invitation to pause and appreciate the beauty of the moment, to see how light accompanies and enhances our daily lives.

A new approach to atmosphere design based on the creation of specific scenes according to the use of a space over time, integrating dynamic light and advanced control system design.

We aim to lead a new approach to lighting focused on people’s emotions, elevating interior design as a fundamental discipline for the cultivation of wellbeing. We propose a new approach to designing emotional atmospheres based on the creation of specific scenes according to the use of a space over time, integrating dynamic light and advanced control system design.

We offer an expanded portfolio of more than 60 collections, featuring a unique blend of lighting effects, dynamic control and subtle gradients in intensity, tone and colour. Our circadian rhythms respond primarily to light, which regulates our sense of physical and mental wellbeing. Designing an atmosphere of wellbeing means creating specific scenes that adapt to the use of a space as it evolves throughout the day. We combine different lighting typologies with different levels of density, experimenting with a synthesis of diffuse, indirect and direct light to create the perfect ambience at any time of day.

Vibia's spot accent, downlight and general lighting luminaires include the option of tunable white. Tunable lighting allows for comprehensive colour temperature and intensity regulation depending on the desired atmosphere for every scene.

Designing an atmosphere of wellbeing is based on two main axes: space and time. The axis of time implies the concept of dynamic light, because ambience depends on the time of day and on the influence of the natural light at every moment. Dynamic light allows professionals to play with subtle degrees of intensity and colour to recreate an ambience for every scene within a lighting project.
