The Glamox A51-R G2 is a recessed LED luminaire designed to create the visual impression of a suspended diffuser, enhancing ceiling aesthetics with a subtle decorative glow. Its drop-out diffuser, available in two sizes—C430 and C530—adds depth and character to the ceiling, making it ideal for environments where architectural integration and visual comfort are equally important. The luminaire is designed for 600x600 mm ceiling grids and includes a specialized mounting plate that ensures quick and easy installation across a wide variety of ceiling systems.
The A51-R G2 is equipped with high-performance LEDs offering a luminous output ranging from 1500 to 3000 lumens. It supports color temperatures of 3000 K or 4000 K with a CRI of Ra 80, and ensures consistent visual quality with MacAdams 3 color tolerance. The fixture is constructed from white-painted steel and features an opal acrylic diffuser for soft, uniform light distribution. A white nylon decorative ring completes the look and provides IP44 protection from below.
Compatible with both 15 mm and 24 mm T-bar ceiling grids, the A51-R G2 can also be mounted in concealed ceiling systems using optional mounting brackets. These brackets allow for secure installation in hidden T-bar ceilings up to 24 mm in width. Electrical connection is handled via an external driver compatible with LINECT systems, supporting either 3- or 5-pole configurations.
The luminaire offers a choice of HF or DALI drivers, with a long expected lifetime of up to 100,000 hours at 25°C with a maximum 10% failure rate. Emergency lighting options include standard (S), self-test (ST), or DALI-enabled versions, available in 1-hour or 3-hour durations to meet various safety requirements. For enhanced functionality, a PIR presence sensor can be integrated to support energy-saving automation and occupancy control.
In line with environmental standards, the Glamox A51-R G2 can also be supplied with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), making it a smart choice for sustainable lighting projects.
