The Glamox C21 is designed to be mounted above a board, ensuring it meets all international lighting requirements for such applications. It offers multiple mounting options, including surface mounting, recessed installation into T-bar ceilings, and pendant suspension. Additionally, it can be mounted on walls directly above boards using a specially designed wall bracket, enhancing its versatility. The pendant, surface, and wall-mounted versions also support row mounting, which is ideal for illuminating longer boards evenly.
In terms of mounting specifics, the luminaire can be surface mounted, recessed into a T-bar ceiling, or suspended as a pendant with the use of a standard Glamox suspension system. For wall mounting directly above boards, a purpose-made wall bracket is available. Versions prepared for row mounting are marked with TW and come without end caps, which must be ordered separately. The 600mm version is not available with the TW option and is intended for single-unit use in a row. When recessed in a 600mm T-bar ceiling, a thinner end cap is required to complete the installation and must be purchased separately.
The light source of the Glamox C21 provides either 2,500 or 3,800 lumens with color temperatures of 3000K or 4000K. It has a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, with CRI 90 available upon request, and features MacAdam ellipse 3-step color consistency for uniform lighting quality. The luminaire’s optical system consists of asymmetric lenses paired with a black anti-glare reflector, providing directed and comfortable illumination.
For modern control and automation, the 1200mm length version of the C21 is prepared to integrate with wireless sensors (MPW-SEN) or wireless antennas (DALI-AE), facilitating complete wireless lighting installations. Constructed from extruded aluminium, the body of the C21 is painted white to suit most interior environments. It uses an electronic ballast (HF) or a DALI driver for reliable and efficient operation. Accessories available for the C21 include a wall mounting bracket (supplied one per luminaire), a row mounting kit consisting of brackets and through wiring for continuous installation, a pendant wire kit, and a thinner end cap specifically designed for the recessed 600mm T-bar version.
