The AL60-SQ model is a surface-mounted luminaire suitable for both wall and ceiling installation in indoor environments. It comes in two sizes—290 x 290 mm and 340 x 340 mm—and is available in grey, white, or black finishes. A range of decorative trim options is offered to customize the appearance further. The lighting technology ensures a uniform and pleasant light distribution, while the IP54 ingress protection and IK10 impact classification provide flexibility and durability for various applications. Thanks to LED technology, the AL60-SQ is energy-efficient and features a long operational lifetime. Its compact design also supports straightforward installation.
Designed for crew and public spaces such as cabins, corridors, staircases, lounges, and shopping areas, the AL60-SQ features an integrated high-frequency driver that supports phase-cut dimming. It meets marine-specific design requirements and offers excellent light quality with MacAdam step 3 color tolerances, a color rendering index (CRI) greater than 80, and color temperatures of 3000K or 4000K available on request. The luminaire’s lifetime is rated at a minimum of 50,000 hours (L70 at max Ta of 45°C or 50°C), delivering outputs of 1100 lumens for the 290 mm version and 2000 lumens for the 340 mm version.
The housing is crafted from solid die-cast aluminum with a polyester powder coat finish available in grey (RAL 9006), white (RAL 9016), or black (RAL 9005). The diffuser is made of impact-resistant opal polycarbonate, ensuring durability and optimal light diffusion. Decorative rings are offered in black, white, grey, chrome, and copper, allowing further customization. Without a trim ring, the AL60-SQ presents a more industrial and robust look.
Mounting is straightforward, with the luminaire fixed using four screws. The backside contains three M20 knockouts with grommets for fixed cable installations, while the sides feature three M20 knockouts equipped with quick-seal grommets designed for cables between 7 and 11 mm in diameter. The electrical connection is made via a push-in terminal block rated for 5 x 2 x 2.5 mm² wiring. Overall, the AL60-SQ combines marine-grade design, energy efficiency, durability, and aesthetic flexibility, making it an excellent choice for various demanding indoor lighting applications.
