This versatile surface-mounted design can be installed in almost any type of ceiling, making it ideal when ceiling height does not allow for pendant fixtures. The C90-S comes in two color options and four different diameters, allowing easy combinations to create exciting and dynamic lighting layouts. It is also part of the comprehensive C90 family, which includes recessed and pendant-mounted models, enabling a harmonious design throughout an entire project with consistent high-quality products.
Whether intended as the centerpiece or a subtle supporting element, the C90-S offers flexibility in application. The largest version is well suited as the star of the show in assembly rooms or conference halls, while the smaller sizes provide elegant and understated illumination for offices, social zones, or meeting rooms.
The C90 family is known for premium luminous surfaces, and the C90-S continues this tradition with state-of-the-art backlit LED modules designed to provide the most uniform light possible. It is available in four diameters—420 mm, 570 mm, 870 mm, and 1170 mm—with light outputs ranging from 1,400 to 24,000 lumens, making it suitable for high-ceiling applications. Opal optics ensure soft, diffused light, while microprismatic optics—available on the 420, 570, and 870 mm versions—help reduce glare, especially beneficial in workspaces.
C90-S supports advanced light management and Human Centric Lighting solutions. It features DALI dimming and is compatible with all Glamox Light Management Systems. Additionally, tunable white technology options allow the luminaire to adjust color temperature dynamically, enhancing wellbeing through lighting that adapts to human needs.
The product comes with emergency lighting options, including standard, self-test, and DALI systems with 1 or 3-hour durations. Optic choices include opal and microprismatic diffusers, with the latter available on select sizes. Connections are facilitated via a terminal block in the ceiling bracket paired with a quick connector to the main body. Integrated sensor options include a PIR sensor with relay-based ON/OFF control and a PIR sensor configured for corridor functions.
Constructed with an aluminum body finished in either white or grey powder-coated structure, the C90-S is delivered with a ceiling bracket for easy surface mounting. The version with opal diffuser also supports wall mounting. The driver options include electronic ballast (HF) or DALI dimmable, both rated for up to 100,000 hours of operation with a 10% maximum failure rate at 25°C. The LED light source provides between 1,400 and 24,000 lumens with color temperatures of 3000K or 4000K, a CRI of 80, and MacAdams 3 binning, with tunable white (CCT) available.
For environmentally conscious projects, the C90-S can also be supplied with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), further underlining its commitment to sustainability and quality.
