The TL11 LED is a recessed lighting fixture designed for installation in solid ceilings where an IP44 rating is required, specifically in maritime environments. This luminaire meets stringent marine standards, offering reliable performance and robust construction. The housing and frame are made from durable steel, powder coated in white (RAL9016) for corrosion resistance and a clean finish. The steel frame is securely attached to the housing with screws, ensuring stability and safety in demanding applications.
Available in two variants, the TL11-R250 and TL11-R222 are tailored for different ceiling types. The TL11-R250 LED is ideal for solid ceilings and can also be used for retrofit installations, as it fits the existing cutouts of older Aqua Signal 1226 and Glamox GIM fixtures with T8/T12 lamps. In contrast, the TL11-R222 LED is specifically designed for installation in shadow panel ceilings such as Danacoustic or Dampa M3 systems. For both versions, adjustable suspension brackets facilitate easy and secure mounting. Brackets are included with the TL11-R222, while they must be ordered separately for the TL11-R250.
The diffuser options include either a double prismatic (DP) or opalic (OP) plastic sheet fitted in a steel frame, both rated at IP44, providing uniform light distribution and added protection in damp or splash-prone environments. For applications where IP20 is sufficient, a white grid (WG) plastic diffuser is also available. These configurations make the TL11 LED suitable for a variety of recessed lighting needs, including those in marine vessels or facilities that demand both function and durability.
The TL11 LED is available with several electrical configurations. It includes an electronic high-frequency driver (HF) and can be supplied with analogue dimming (HFDa 2–10 V) or emergency versions (HF-EB). A DALI version is available upon request. Emergency versions for TL11-R must be specified separately; the TL11-R E3 fluorescent has an integrated emergency system, while TL11-R EB3 LED variants require an external emergency battery box ordered as an accessory.
The fixture provides cable access through two rubber-grommeted 20.5 mm holes on the top and two knock-out points of the same size at each end, offering flexible cable entry options. The termination is handled by a five-way push-in terminal block (2 x 2.5 mm²). Light sources are available in LED color temperatures 3000K (830), 4000K (840), or 5000K (850), depending on the lighting requirements.
With its marine-compliant design, flexible installation options, and support for dimming and emergency lighting, the TL11 LED is a durable and versatile solution for recessed ceiling lighting in both retrofit and new construction scenarios.
