As demand grew for more versatile lighting, a special wall bracket was added to extend its use beyond traditional horizontal surfaces. However, questions soon emerged about its suitability in quieter or more intimate settings like private homes, healthcare environments, or places of worship, where its expressive design could feel visually overpowering.
In response, Luxo introduced the L-1 Wall—a more discreet version of the classic. With a shorter arm and a compact dome, it initially sparked debate for seemingly straying from the original’s proportions. Electrically, the L-1 Wall comes in two configurations: a plug-in 20V power supply for the LED version, and an E27 version with a 230V plug. The LED variant delivers 700 lumens at 3000K with a CRI of 80 (MacAdams 3), while the E27 includes a 530-lumen, 2700K LED bulb and supports a maximum of 10W. The fixture features a symmetric light output softened by an opal diffuser to reduce glare and enhance visual comfort.
Constructed with a steel arm and aluminum shade, the L-1 Wall is built to last and available in timeless black or white finishes. It is supplied with the standard WBR wall mounting bracket, ensuring straightforward installation and a clean, integrated appearance.
