The D70 G2 Trimless solution is a recessed downlight designed to meet high demands for aesthetics and performance while offering efficiency and versatile application options. It provides illumination in an elegant and discreet manner, allowing for smooth integration into architectural designs. The D70 G2 Trimless solution can be combined with any D70-R155 G2 or D70-R195 G2 downlight of your choice, enhancing consistency and design flexibility.
This solution consists of three separate components: the "Trimless FRAME," which is recommended to be delivered early in the project; the "Trimless CONE," which is mounted after installing the chosen D70 G2 downlight; and the downlight itself. Installation involves a few straightforward steps. First, the carpenter creates a hole in the plasterboard ceiling where the "Trimless FRAME" is installed. Next, the painter finishes the ceiling surface, creating a seamless transition between the ceiling and the frame. Finally, once the construction work is complete, the selected D70 G2 downlight is mounted into the hole, with the "Trimless CONE" being fitted last to complete the installation.
The "Trimless FRAME" is made of white painted aluminium, while the "Trimless CONE" is crafted from ABS material, both finished in RAL 9016. The system is designed for easy mounting using integral adjustable brackets and comes with a 3mm Allen key bit for installation. It supports ceiling thicknesses up to a maximum of 30 mm, making it adaptable to a variety of architectural ceiling designs.
