The AL46 Atlantis LED neon strip light is part of the Glamox AL46 family, which includes FL for indoor IP00 applications, Aqua for protected areas, and Atlantis for demanding indoor and outdoor use. Designed specifically for marine environments, the AL46 Atlantis offers a fully waterproof solution with IP66/67 protection. The AL46 Atlantis emits completely uniform light with no visible LED dots, thanks to its opal encapsulation. It is available in top or side bend configurations, offering versatility in placement and application. Light output ranges from approximately 400 lumens to 1,350 lumens per meter, depending on the selected wattage and configuration. It supports various color temperatures and is available in CRI 80+ or 90+ options to meet different visual standards and design needs.
The LED strips are supplied in custom lengths, tailored to the project requirements. Each unit comes with marine-approved connection cables in 1, 3, or 5-meter lengths, with vertical or horizontal cable entry options. Note that the strip length must be divisible by the cutting step and each continuous strip can be up to 5,000 mm long. The LED modules operate on 24VDC and require a separate driver such as the Osram AL46 OT series.
Constructed with thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers (TPU), the housing is UV-resistant, salt and solvent proof, and repels dust and dirt, making it easy to clean and highly durable. The light source delivers over 100 lumens per watt at the PCB level, achieving approximately 80 lumens per watt as a finished strip output when encapsulated in opal TPU. It complies with IEC 60092-306 and IEC 60598-1 standards for marine and electrical safety.
Installation is straightforward using specially designed aluminum profiles (available in 1 or 2-meter lengths) or customer-supplied mounting solutions, making the AL46 Atlantis a dependable choice for continuous, clean, and flexible linear lighting in marine environments.
