The FX45-W is a universal and timeless luminaire that complements both modern and traditional interiors with ease. It features an opal diffuser that delivers soft light and ensures the highest level of lighting uniformity, creating a comfortable and visually appealing environment. The design is minimalist, characterized by smooth sides with no recesses and a sleek cover made of die-cast aluminium that conceals any visible screws, enhancing its clean aesthetic. For versions with indirect light distribution, an opalised top diffuser is included to gently disperse light upwards.
Designed with practicality in mind, the FX45-W’s construction allows for easy assembly. It includes convenient features such as a quick connector, a central power point, a hinge, and a latch, simplifying installation and maintenance. Access to the power supply is made easy from the bottom of the luminaire, eliminating the need to remove the unit from the wall during servicing. The bottom optics are installed using the CLICK system, providing flexible lighting options. Both the length and color of the luminaire can be customized to suit specific lighting design requirements. However, the light source and separate lighting control equipment are not user-replaceable.
The body of the FX45-W is constructed from extruded anodized aluminium with end caps made of die-cast aluminium. It is available in two color options: white or black. The luminaire comes in four standard lengths: 250 mm, 500 mm, 1000 mm, and 1500 mm, offering versatility for various installation needs. An IP54-rated version is also available, equipped with an opal diffuser, but this option only provides downward light distribution (0/100).
The FX45-W is intended for wall mounting and includes two end caps along with wall brackets for secure installation. Its LED light source offers an output ranging from 500 to 3000 lumens, with color temperatures available in 3000 K or 4000 K. The luminaire delivers excellent color rendering with a CRI of Ra 80 and a MacAdams step of 3. Optical options include an opal diffuser made from polycarbonate (OP/PC), as well as white (WT) or black (DK) reflectors, allowing customization of light quality and distribution. Cable entry is conveniently located in the center of the fixture for easy electrical connection.
