The Glamox i70 is a slim yet robust LED luminaire engineered for demanding environments, including areas with high ambient temperatures and requirements for a long operational lifetime. Its housing is crafted from anodized seawater-resistant aluminum, complemented by polycarbonate end caps and acid-proof steel end brackets. The diffuser is made from impact-resistant opal polycarbonate (PC), ensuring durability and consistent light diffusion. This luminaire is particularly well-suited for use in production areas, technical rooms, chemical plants, and locations exposed to extreme weather conditions and salinity. Available in two different lengths with varying lumen packages, the i70 offers flexibility to meet diverse lighting needs.
Designed for a lifetime of 50,000 hours (L70) at a maximum ambient temperature of 55°C, the i70 utilizes advanced LED technology that minimizes maintenance requirements, resulting in significant cost and manpower savings. Many variants of the i70 can be equipped with emergency lighting systems featuring internal batteries, tested for operation at ambient temperatures up to 30°C.
The i70 comes supplied with an integrated Wieland IP68 male plug RST20i3 for fixed output versions and RST20i5 for DALI configurations. A through-wiring (TW) version is also available, featuring an integrated male plug and female connector to facilitate flexible installation setups. The light source delivers between 2,200 and 6,000 lumens, with a color temperature of 4000 K, a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra 80, and a MacAdam ellipse of 3, ensuring consistent and natural color quality.
Mounting options include direct installation on ceilings, walls, or luminaire tracks via fixed end brackets. Additional brackets for horizontal wire suspension and turnable brackets are also available for mounting on the fixed end brackets, allowing versatile placement tailored to various environments. The luminaire offers fixed output (HF) and DALI dimmable drivers with a dimming range of 1 to 100%, boasting a driver lifetime of up to 120,000 hours at 25°C ambient temperature with a maximum failure rate of 10%.
Constructed with longevity in mind, the i70’s body features anodized seawater-resistant aluminum housing, polycarbonate end caps, and acid-proof steel end brackets. The impact-resistant opal polycarbonate diffuser, silicone gaskets, and acid-proof steel screws further enhance its durability and weather resistance.
For safety and compliance, many i70 variants are available with emergency lighting systems, including standard, self-test, or DALI addressable options, all equipped with internal batteries rated for operation at 30°C ambient temperature. Accessories such as suspension kits and Wieland IP68 plugs and connectors are available to support installation and connectivity needs.
