The recessed installation method uses the Oktalite folding spring system, which allows tool-free mounting and dismounting in ceiling panels with a thickness range of 1 to 25 mm.
With LED luminous flux options ranging from 1500 to 4000 lumens, and light color options spanning warm white (2700 K) to neutral white (4000 K), including Efficient White and Brilliant Colour variants, IDESTO supports tailored lighting schemes. The system’s optical unit features a folding reflector made of anodised aluminium and delivers asymmetric light distribution optimized for wallwashing applications.
In terms of smart lighting control, IDESTO integrates seamlessly with wireless CASAMBI technology, enabling effortless setup and grouping of up to 250 devices within a Bluetooth mesh network. Users can commission and adjust the lighting system via the CASAMBI app, available for both iOS and Android devices. This wireless functionality makes IDESTO particularly suitable for modernisation projects with minimal installation requirements.
Constructed from die-cast aluminium, the luminaire body is available in jet black (RAL 9005) or traffic white (RAL 9016) finishes. The body dimensions measure 311 x 101 x 127 mm and weigh approximately 1.3 kg. It operates at a connected load of 36 W, delivering a system luminous flux of 4965 lm with a high luminous efficacy. The luminaire has a service life of 50,000 hours (L80 at 25°C), a CRI above 80, and a correlated color temperature of 4000 K. It is rated IP20, with protection class II, and designed for ambient temperatures up to 25°C.
Power is supplied via a Wieland GST 18i3 connector system, and the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) driver complies with DALI-2 standards for digital dimming.
