The Glamox C77-R is a recessed luminaire from the C77 family, specifically designed for offices and schools. It delivers comfortable, low-glare lighting through a versatile design that comes in various shapes and sizes. To enhance energy efficiency, ambience, and productivity, it offers integrated sensors and tunable white color-changing options.
The C77 series features slender luminaires with rounded corners and an industrial, modern aesthetic. The clean-cut design is complemented by a white-painted housing that blends seamlessly into contemporary interiors. The construction is compact and solid, with tight lines and rounded edges, available in both square and rectangular shapes, and offered in several sizes. Its metal housing is futuristic and flat, combined with efficient reflector optics in silver metallic, black, or white. The bended steel frame is pre-painted white, contributing to its refined look.
Designed for flexible installation, the C77-R fits well into all 15mm and 24mm T-bar ceilings. For other ceiling types, including concealed or plasterboard ceilings, special mounting brackets or frames are available as accessories to ensure compatibility with most market-standard ceilings. The luminaire includes standard or DALI emergency systems with options for one-hour or three-hour duration.
The lighting performance comes from LEDs producing between 2,000 and 8,200 lumens, with color temperatures available in 3000K and 4000K, a CRI of 80, and MacAdam ellipse 3. Tunable white color temperature control adds further customization for user comfort. The luminaire’s optics are composed of metallised reflectors arranged symmetrically in rows or square clusters, resembling groups of downlights. This combination, along with the diffuser, effectively reduces glare and ensures outstanding light quality.
For smart building applications, the C77-R can be equipped with PIR sensors like the relay-based SPR-SEN, as well as wireless communication sensors MPW-SEN and CPW2-SEN, which integrate with the Glamox wireless system. The luminaire also supports connection via Linect technology.
Additionally, the Glamox C77-R offers the possibility of delivering an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), reflecting its sustainable design and commitment to environmental standards.
