The Glamox O52 is a robust LED floodlight designed for street and urban lighting applications. Engineered for versatility, it can be mounted on pole tops or walls using an optional wall bracket. Its construction combines durability and high performance, making it suitable for demanding outdoor environments.
The luminaire features a die-cast aluminium housing finished with a polyester powder coating in silver grey (RAL 9006), ensuring corrosion resistance and long-lasting appearance. The optical system is composed of precision lenses and silver-coated aluminium reflectors, delivering efficient and controlled light distribution. It is protected by a 4 mm tempered safety glass cover that provides high light transmission while withstanding impact. A silicone gasket and stainless steel screws enhance its durability and ensure reliable sealing. Additionally, a pressure equalization filter prevents condensation from forming inside the luminaire.
The O52 supports both fixed output (HF) and DALI dimmable (10–100%) drivers. It offers adjustable tilt functionality from 0° to 20° in 2.5° increments, providing precise aiming for different lighting scenarios. The fixture can be mounted on poles with top diameters of 46–60 mm for O52-340/380 and up to 76 mm for the O52-440. Wall mounting is also possible using a dedicated bracket that must be ordered separately.
Available in multiple configurations, the luminaire provides lumen outputs ranging from 2,500 to 26,000 lumens and offers wide beam (WBA) and medium beam (MBA) optics to suit street and pathway lighting. Color temperatures of 3000K and 4000K are available, with CRI ratings of 70 or 80 and MacAdams 4 color consistency. The O52 also includes surge protection up to 10kV, ensuring operational safety in challenging electrical environments.
Connectivity is provided via a PG16 cable gland (Ø 10–14 mm) and either a 3-pole (HF) or 5-pole (DALI) 2.5 mm² screw terminal block inside the housing. For optimal performance, suitable flexible cables must be used to maintain the water tightness of the gland.
To enhance smart functionality and energy savings, the O52 is available with Glamox NightDim technology and can be configured with a Zhaga socket to integrate communication and sensor units.
