ELECTRA is a durable and versatile luminaire specifically designed for street and urban area lighting. Engineered for reliability in outdoor environments, it features a robust die-cast aluminium body finished in silver grey (RAL 9006) with a polyester powder coating for corrosion resistance. A 4 mm tempered safety glass cover ensures high light transmission while protecting internal components. The luminaire is sealed with an anti-aging rubber gasket, and all screws are made of stainless steel to maintain structural integrity over time.
The fixture can be mounted on poles with top diameters of 46–60 mm, with optional versions available for larger pole tops of 46–76 mm. It can also be wall-mounted using a separately ordered bracket. For precision in installation, the tilt angle is adjustable from 0º to 20º in 2.5º increments. The wind-exposed surface area varies slightly depending on the model: ELECTRA 1 has 0.020 m², ELECTRA 2 has 0.022 m², and ELECTRA 3 has 0.025 m².
ELECTRA offers a choice of wide beam (WBA) and medium beam (MBA) optics, optimized for street and pathway lighting. The luminaire delivers between 2,500 and 27,000 lumens, with standard color temperature options of 3000 K or 4000 K, and CRI ratings of Ra 70 or 80. A 2200 K version with CRI Ra 70 is also available upon request. Color consistency is maintained with a MacAdams 3 rating. To ensure performance in extreme weather conditions, the luminaire is protected against electrical surges up to 10kV.
The luminaire includes either a fixed output (HF) or DALI dimmable driver, offering flexibility in energy management and lighting control. It can also be configured with the Glamox NightDim system and is available with a Zhaga socket for integration with communication and sensor units. Connection is made through a PG16 cable gland (Ø10–13 mm), and the terminal block in the luminaire housing supports 3-pole (HF) or 5-pole (DALI) wiring with 2.5 mm² screw terminals. For outdoor applications, appropriate flexible cables must be used to maintain the IP rating of the gland.
