The Series 66N MIL Arctic family offers versatile LED navigation lighting solutions tailored for naval applications. This family includes several versions: Single (Series 66N MIL), Double (Series 66ND MIL), Single Arctic (Series 66N MIL Arctic), and Double Arctic (Series 66ND MIL Arctic). The Arctic versions are specifically designed for use in low-temperature environments and feature a heating foil integrated inside the glass lens to prevent ice buildup.
Designed for naval vessels starting from 20 meters in length, the Series 66N MIL Arctic fulfills all requirements of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 (COLREG), published by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). In addition to meeting these international maritime safety standards, the system also complies with specialized naval demands, such as compatibility with night vision goggles (NVG). The product range includes special versions featuring flashing, hoisting, contour, and steering lights to cover a wide range of operational needs.
Developed to meet the rigorous demands of naval ships, the Series 66N MIL Arctic is tested and designed according to MIL specifications, ensuring compliance with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), shock, and vibration standards. The navigation lights are highly customizable, allowing grouping and programming based on specific customer requirements. Furthermore, the Safe Return To Port (SRTP) feature is available as an option to enhance operational safety.
The navigation lights operate at a nominal voltage of 24V DC, but the navigation light controller supports flexible input voltages, including 24V DC, 115V AC, or 120-240V AC. The system’s power supply can be configured accordingly to meet installation requirements. The Series 66N MIL Arctic holds the prestigious Wheelmark certification (MED Certificate) and is approved by DNV. Additional certifications such as UL1104 and USCG are currently pending, underscoring its compliance with stringent maritime safety and performance standards.
