The Wave (M) LED is a high-performance magnifier specifically designed for maritime applications. It provides both shadow-free and three-dimensional magnification, with lighting that can be directed from either side or from just the left or right. This 3D lighting feature is particularly useful when working with circuit boards or other fine, detailed components. Thanks to its rectangular lens, the Wave (M) LED is also well-suited for reading tasks.
Designed for maximum flexibility and precision, the fixture features a joint between the lamp head and arm that allows for easy, accurate positioning. The spring-balanced, three-pivot arm enables extensive vertical and horizontal movement while maintaining stability without drifting. The arm measures 105 cm in length and is constructed of durable steel, while the shade is made from aluminum. The luminaire is available in white or light grey and comes standard with friction locks on both arms and a table clamp. Other mounting options, such as integrated table mounts and trolleys, are available upon request.
Equipped with two independently controlled 6W LED modules, the Wave (M) LED provides high-efficiency illumination with three-step dimming options (0-50-100%). It also features an automatic shut-off function, which turns the lights off after either 4 or 9 hours to conserve energy. These LEDs offer a long service life of at least 50,000 hours and produce a neutral white light with a correlated color temperature of 4000K and a color rendering index (CRI) of 80.
Optical performance is enhanced by a standard 3.5 or 5 diopter crown glass lens, measuring 175 x 108 mm. For applications requiring stronger magnification, secondary lenses with 4D, 6D, or 10D are available. A cloth cover is included to protect the lens from dust and prevent accidental focusing of sunlight. The Wave (M) LED is delivered with a cable and plug, making it ready for immediate use.
