The Glamox i81 is a versatile family of LED luminaires designed for surface and pendant mounting, as well as installation in open ceilings using a recessing frame. Delivering a powerful light output of up to 26,000 lumens, the i81 is well suited for illuminating industrial facilities, warehouses, production areas, and workshops, especially in spaces with high ceiling heights where strong, reliable lighting is essential.
The luminaire’s housing is crafted from die-cast aluminum with low iron and copper content (EN AB-44100), finished with an epoxy/polyester powder-coated paint in aluminum grey (RAL 9006) for durability and corrosion resistance. The reflectors are made of silver-coated aluminum and are available in medium beam (MB), narrow beam (NB), and extreme narrow beam (XNB) configurations to provide precise and adaptable light distribution. The front cover is offered in clear or opal (OP) polycarbonate, complemented by a silicone gasket and acid-proof steel screws to ensure long-lasting performance and protection.
The Glamox i81 supports both fixed output (HF) and DALI dimmable drivers, capable of dimming from 1 to 100 percent. The driver boasts a long lifetime of up to 120,000 hours at 25°C ambient temperature with a maximum failure rate of 10 percent. The luminaire comes supplied with a pre-assembled 50 cm halogen-free cable without a plug, with additional connection options available upon request.
Mounting options for the i81 are flexible and extensive, including ceiling or wall installation, mounting on luminaire tracks, side-by-side cluster arrangements, suspension on horizontal wires, or pendant mounting. Suspension brackets must be ordered separately. Additionally, the i81 can be installed in open ceilings using a recessing frame for a seamless integration. A variety of accessories are available to support different mounting configurations, including kits for chain suspension, double wire suspension kits, brackets for horizontal wire, ceiling brackets, cluster brackets, revolvable brackets, external wireless sensor boxes, and inrush current limiters.
The light source provides an output range between 14,000 and 26,000 lumens with a standard color temperature of 4000 K, a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra 80, and a MacAdam ellipse of 3 for consistent color quality. A warmer 3000 K option is available upon request, allowing users to customize the lighting atmosphere to suit specific environments and applications. This combination of high performance, flexible mounting, and durable construction makes the Glamox i81 a reliable and efficient lighting solution for demanding industrial spaces.
