A silicone gasket seals the unit, and all screws are made of stainless steel, providing added protection and longevity. The mounting bracket is constructed from hot-dipped galvanized steel for corrosion resistance and secure installation.
Equipped with a pressure equalisation filter, the housing prevents condensation build-up inside the luminaire, enhancing its reliability in various weather conditions. The floodlight is powered by a fixed output (HF) driver, with a DALI option available upon request. Its LED light source delivers between 40,000 and 65,000 lumens at a color temperature of 5000 K, with a CRI of Ra 70 and MacAdams tolerance of 4, offering bright and consistent illumination.
The wind-exposed surface areas vary depending on tilt angles: laterally, it measures 0.092 m²; front-facing at 90°, 0.230 m²; at 45°, 0.180 m²; and at 0°, 0.110 m². The floodlight is mounted using its sturdy bracket system, designed for ease of installation. Variants with specialized pretreatment and enhanced coatings are available for aggressive environments, ensuring suitability for harsh conditions.
Optically, the Glamox O91 offers medium beam (MB) and asymmetrical (ASY) reflector options made from silver-coated aluminium to meet various lighting needs. Electrical connections include one PG16 cable gland accommodating cables with diameters from 10 to 14 mm, along with a 3-pole screw terminal block for the HF driver or a 5-pole 4 mm² screw terminal block for the DALI version, all housed within the luminaire. For outdoor use, appropriate flexible cables must be employed to ensure the water-tight integrity of the cable gland. The fixture also features surge protection rated up to 10kV, safeguarding against electrical disturbances.
