The Glamox O66-R is a ground recessed linear LED luminaire designed with an edge-to-edge front glass, making it ideal for continuous row mounting in various outdoor applications. It is engineered to withstand a maximum static load of 1000 kg, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding environments. The luminaire’s body is crafted from extruded and die-cast aluminium with a robust double-layer polyester powder coated paint finish in RAL 9006. The front cover consists of 8 mm tempered glass, providing excellent protection while maintaining high light transmission. Silicone gaskets seal the luminaire, and all screws and springs are made of stainless steel, enhancing resistance to corrosion and environmental wear. The luminaire is supplied with a mounting box, but end caps must be ordered separately to complete the installation.
For electrical connections, the O66-R features two M20 cable glands sized for cables between 8 to 12 mm in diameter, located on the underside of the luminaire’s connection box. It is equipped with a 3- or 5-pole 6 mm² screw terminal block, allowing secure wiring. Outdoor use requires the use of suitable flexible cables to maintain the water tightness of the cable glands, ensuring protection against moisture ingress.
The O66-R is specifically designed for ground installation into the supplied mounting box and is perfectly suited for continuous row mounting setups, making it a versatile choice for large-scale exterior lighting projects. Accessories available for this model include end caps for the mounting box, a straight joint for linking mounting boxes in continuous rows, and a suction pad to facilitate installation.
The luminaire delivers LED output ranging from 1300 to 5200 lumens with color temperatures available at 3000K or 4000K, offering a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra 80 and MacAdam ellipse 3 for consistent and quality light output. An RGBW option is available on request for applications requiring dynamic color lighting. The temperature on the front glass remains below 40°C at an ambient temperature of 25°C, ensuring safe operation and durability.
Optical options include asymmetric (ASY) and medium beam (MB) distributions, providing flexibility in lighting design and coverage. The O66-R comes with either a fixed output (HF) driver or a DALI dimmable driver, allowing for dimming control between 100% and 1%, which supports energy savings and adaptable lighting scenes.
