Color options include a variety of white color temperatures with CRI ratings of 80 or 90, as well as RGB, RGBW, and Tunable White (TW) variants. Installation is simple and versatile. Each strip comes with double-sided adhesive tape on the back for easy surface mounting. Alternatively, strips can be installed directly onto suitable metal surfaces or into optional aluminum housings with covers. The strips include a 30 cm soldered wire lead, and users can either attach connectors or solder new wires when cutting. Cut points are spaced at 125 mm for strips with 56 LEDs per meter and at 62.5 mm for those with 112 LEDs per meter.
From a technical perspective, the AL46 FL requires a 24V DC SELV power supply, with external drivers such as the AL46 OT (Osram) needing to be ordered separately. Power consumption options include 2W/m (producing approximately 150–250 lm/m), 4W/m (300–400 lm/m), 4.8W/m (400–500 lm/m), and 9.6W/m (750–900 lm/m), each with a maximum run length of 5 meters. Built on a naked PCB with a copper layer for efficient heat dissipation, this LED strip series meets maritime standards and offers over 100 lm/W efficacy, tight color consistency with MacAdam 3-step tolerance, and high reliability for long-term performance.
