Built with a high-quality extruded and die-cast aluminium housing, the O37 features a double-layer polyester powder coated paint finish for excellent durability and corrosion resistance. The luminaire includes a tempered glass diffuser that ensures even light distribution while maintaining high impact resistance. It also incorporates a silicone gasket and stainless steel screws to withstand demanding outdoor conditions.
Delivering 1500 lumens of output, the O37 uses efficient LEDs with a color temperature of either 3000K or 4000K, a color rendering index (CRI) of 80, and MacAdam 3 step color consistency. This ensures a visually comfortable lighting experience with minimal variation in color. The luminaire is powered by a fixed output (HF) driver and is supplied with a pre-assembled rubber cable for streamlined installation. To ensure proper sealing, suitable flexible cables must be used to maintain the watertight integrity of the gland.
The Glamox O37 offers versatile mounting options. It can be installed using a root column, base plate, or an adapter for a foundation with a diameter of 108 mm—all of which must be ordered separately—or it can be mounted directly to a fixed base. Surge protection up to 4kV enhances reliability by safeguarding against voltage spikes, making this luminaire a smart and resilient choice for public and private outdoor lighting applications.
