The Glamox O49 is a post-top LED luminaire designed for outdoor applications such as parks, pathways, and amenity lighting, suitable for mounting on poles ranging from 3 to 6 meters in height. It is available in three attractive finishes: black, anthracite, and aluminium grey. Constructed with a durable die-cast aluminium housing, the luminaire offers both clear and opal optical diffuser options to tailor light output. Additionally, wall-mount versions are available using a separately ordered bracket, and installation is made simple with a 6-meter pre-assembled rubber cable.
This product supports advanced light management options, including the Glamox NightDim system, which optimizes energy use through intelligent dimming. It can also be equipped with a Zhaga socket, allowing connection to communication and sensor units for smart outdoor lighting control. The body is crafted from die-cast aluminium finished with a robust double-layer polyester powder coating available in black (RAL 9005), anthracite (close to RAL 7024), or aluminium grey (RAL 9006). The reflector is made of anodised aluminium, and the diffuser options include polycarbonate variants with either a clear outer and opal inner diffuser or single clear or opal diffusers. To ensure weather resistance and durability, the luminaire features silicone gaskets and stainless steel screws.
The O49 luminaire is powered by LEDs delivering between 2,500 and 7,000 lumens, with color temperatures available at 3000K or 4000K. It boasts a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra 80 and MacAdam ellipse of 3, ensuring natural and vibrant lighting. The driver options include a fixed output (HF) or a DALI dimmable driver for flexible light control. Protection against electrical surges is rated up to 6kV, enhancing reliability in harsh outdoor environments.
With a wind-exposed surface area of 0.19 m², the Glamox O49 is designed for stable installation on poles with a top diameter of 60 mm or on walls with the appropriate bracket.
