The Glamox O92 is a powerful LED floodlight designed for both outdoor and indoor applications, particularly suited for HDTV recording and professional lighting of large areas such as sports grounds, seaports, terminal docks, and container storage facilities. Its asymmetrical light distribution ensures broad and effective illumination. The luminaire housing is made of durable die-cast aluminium, finished with a silver grey (RAL 9006) polyester powder coating that provides excellent weather resistance. Reflectors are crafted from metallized high-performance thermoplastics, optimizing light output, while the tempered safety glass cover offers extra high light transmission. To enhance durability, the luminaire features a silicone gasket, stainless steel screws, and a mounting bracket constructed from hot-dipped galvanized steel.
Equipped with a pressure equalization filter, the O92 prevents condensation buildup inside the housing, ensuring reliable performance in various environmental conditions. The luminaire is fitted with a DALI dimmable driver that allows dimming from 100% to 20%, offering flexible control over light intensity. It also includes a visor accessory to help manage glare and light spill.
The electrical connection utilizes a single PG16 cable gland accommodating cables with diameters from 10 to 14 mm, connected internally via 6 mm² screw terminal blocks. For outdoor use, it is essential to use suitable flexible cables that maintain the water tightness of the cable gland, protecting against moisture ingress.
The LED light source delivers an impressive output ranging from 110,000 to 150,000 lumens, with a color temperature of 5000 K and a color rendering index (CRI) of Ra 70 or 80, meeting MacAdams 4 standards. The floodlight is designed to withstand surges up to 10 kV, enhancing its robustness in demanding electrical environments.
Regarding physical dimensions, the floodlight’s wind-exposed surface varies depending on mounting and accessories: the lateral surface area is 0.140 m² without the visor and 0.160 m² with it; the front surface area is 0.110 m² at a 0º tilt, increasing to 0.200 m² when combined with the visor. Installation is facilitated by the sturdy mounting bracket, providing secure and adjustable positioning. The optical system features asymmetrical reflectors made of metallized high-performance thermoplastics, ensuring efficient and focused light distribution for large-area illumination needs.
