Standard corrosion class C5 compliance ensures long-term durability in demanding outdoor environments. The stirrup allows versatile mounting options, including wall, floor, or pole installations, and is reversible for hang-down positions. Integrated cable management includes multiple cable gland options for mains supply, control inputs, and LED connections, allowing secure, flexible, and professional wiring. A simple aiming device mounted on the top of the floodlight ensures precise positioning.
Champion also incorporates advanced thermal management through its gearbox. The Premium version features die-cast aluminium housing with patented “fishbone” heatsink fins for optimized heat dissipation across the full operating temperature range of -40°C to +45°C. The gearbox can be mounted on the floodlight bracket, inside a mast, or remotely, and is compatible with multiple driver configurations based on ambient conditions, supporting maximum driving currents for different LED options and ensuring optimal performance. The alternative Performance gearbox provides similar functionality with linear fins instead of the fishbone design. Built-in surge protection up to 10kV guarantees reliability in all conditions.
The inclined internal front glass acts as a cowl, creating a ‘virtual’ light-emitting surface that remains parallel to the ground, contributing to full cut-off and excellent spill control.
