The SLB B is a bridge-operated searchlight specifically designed for small vessels operating in demanding marine and offshore environments. Built with premium marine-grade materials, it incorporates Luminell’s proven LED technology to ensure durability and reliability even under harsh conditions. This new design has been rigorously tested by Search and Rescue (SAR) teams over a full year, receiving excellent feedback for its performance and usability.
Engineered for versatility, the SLB B is suitable for a wide range of vessel types, including SAR, pilot, police, ambulance, patrol, coastal fishing boats, and water taxis. It also fits seamlessly into both new builds and retrofit projects, making it a flexible, powerful, and compact searchlight solution for any vessel requiring precise and easy-to-maneuver lighting.
The SLB B offers two beam options: a narrow Spot beam with a 3.5° angle at 40W and a wider Flood beam with a 15° angle at 80W. Additionally, it comes in four different length configurations based on the pedestal (“out”) and the internal ceiling console with handle (“in”) sizes, allowing for customization depending on vessel design and user preference. These options include Short Out/Short In, Short Out/Long In, High Out/Short In, and High Out/Long In variants.
With an impressive 440° rotation and 30° tilt up and down, the SLB B provides outstanding flexibility and maneuverability, giving operators precise control over the light beam direction during navigation and operations. The dual-head LED searchlight is bridge-controlled, offering up to 6,000 lumens of light output with a minimum CRI of 70 and a color temperature between 5,000 and 6,000K. It can illuminate targets up to 890 meters away at 1 lux intensity.
For AC-powered installations, an optional power supply unit (PSU) is available. The searchlight operates on 12-24 VDC and has a maximum power draw of 120W. Beam angle options include dual 3.5° beams or a combination of 3.5° and 15°, with separate ignition possible for each. Depending on the version, the searchlight weighs between 9 and 13 kilograms.
Constructed with mechanics made from acid-proof stainless steel and LED heads crafted from powder-coated anodized seawater-resistant aluminum, the SLB B features a durable finish in RAL9016 white.
