The SKYLUX® 216 is a suspended, bi-directional LED luminaire designed for high-performance lighting in education and commercial environments. Whether installed in continuous runs or as standalone fixtures, this luminaire delivers both technical excellence and aesthetic refinement. With various housing colors, lengths, and lumen outputs available, it is adaptable to a wide range of architectural and functional requirements. Its narrow, discreet flange enhances the modern appearance, while the robust design ensures long-term durability backed by a 5-year warranty.
Engineered for visual comfort, the SKYLUX 216 comes standard with a glare control lens optimized for UGR<19 applications, limiting luminance to less than 3000 cd/m² at 65° and above. Its radial downward light distribution provides high task uniformity and supports wider fixture spacings, making it ideal for learning spaces, offices, and shared work environments. The luminaire is available in three optical lengths—1200 mm, 1500 mm, and 1800 mm—and features three distribution configurations: 100% downlight, direct with internally reflected 5% uplight, and direct with 30% dedicated uplight. This flexibility allows the SKYLUX 216 to meet diverse lighting strategies, including ambient and task-focused applications.
Infill sections are offered in 300 mm increments ranging from 300 mm to 1800 mm, allowing for seamless customization in continuous row installations. Each fixture is equipped with a through-wiring system and a 3-meter suspension kit for quick and secure mounting. Finished in RAL 9010 20% gloss as standard, the luminaire is also available in silver grey and black to complement various interior palettes.
As part of its advanced control features, the SKYLUX 216 includes DALI control gear as standard. Options are available for wireless connectivity, which enhances sustainability by eliminating cabling, reduces installation time, and allows system monitoring through a handheld tablet. For projects emphasizing human-centric design, the Tuneable White system supports circadian lighting strategies. Available in Ra 80 or Ra 90 configurations, this Human Centric Lighting (HCL) solution has been shown to improve performance, regulate sleep cycles, and support overall well-being in both educational and workplace environments.
With an output of up to 138 luminaire lumens per circuit watt and support for both traditional and advanced lighting controls, the SKYLUX® 216 represents a comprehensive lighting solution that balances efficiency, flexibility, and visual comfort.
