The UFV is a high-durability, tamper-resistant interior LED luminaire engineered for demanding environments that require both impact resistance and reliable performance. With an IK10 (150 joules) mechanical protection rating and IP44 ingress protection, this surface-mounted fixture is designed for both wall and ceiling applications in areas where resilience and safety are paramount.
Constructed with a rigid spun aluminium base and finished in white, the UFV features a satin opal polycarbonate prismatic diffuser secured with tamper-resistant star head screws. The fixture is particularly suitable for anti-ligature environments when installed with anti-pick mastic between the base and the wall or ceiling. Its robust build makes it ideal for mental health facilities, custodial settings, and public circulation areas where fixture abuse prevention is critical.
Measuring 520mm in diameter, the UFV delivers an efficacy of up to 100 lumens per watt and outputs 3400 lumens, with 3000K or 4000K color temperature options. The light source offers a CRI of Ra 80 with a MacAdam 3-step color consistency, ensuring both visual comfort and uniformity.
The luminaire supports multiple driver options, including fixed output (HF) and DALI dimmable (1–100%), and features a driver lifetime of up to 100,000 hours. An optional night light function delivering 350 lumens is available via a separate circuit, offering low-level illumination for rest areas or safety lighting.
The UFV also accommodates a variety of integrated sensor options, including the SMRB-SEN microwave sensor with on/off relay and the SMC-SEN microwave sensor with corridor dimming functionality. These smart sensor integrations enhance energy efficiency by adjusting lighting based on presence detection and ambient light conditions.
Emergency functionality is available in several formats, including standard (S) 1–3 hour emergency backup, self-test (ST), DALI addressable emergency (DALI), and self-test wireless (ST-W) systems. These options allow the UFV to meet various safety code requirements and facility standards.
Installation is facilitated with 3- to 6-pole connections (depending on version) and dual center-located 20mm cable entry holes, supporting 2 x 2.5mm terminals.
