The FX65 FLOW SILENCE is a state-of-the-art acoustic pendant luminaire that seamlessly merges high-performance lighting with sound-absorbing functionality. Designed to elevate both visual and acoustic comfort, this fixture is equipped on both the top and bottom with 9mm thick pressed polyester fibre (PET), an environmentally responsible material composed of 75% recycled content. Internally filled with specialized absorbent layers, the FX65 FLOW SILENCE enhances the quality of any environment by reducing ambient noise—perfect for open-plan offices, collaborative workspaces, and communication zones.
This luminaire supports Human Centric Lighting (HCL) principles by placing people’s comfort and well-being at the forefront. PET is not only sound-absorbing but also non-toxic, impact-resistant, flame retardant (B-s2, d0 class), and lightweight, making it ideal for modern interiors. It is available in black or grey finishes and can be matched with different décor styles thanks to its color versatility.
Lighting performance is another standout feature of FX65 FLOW SILENCE. The luminaire delivers up to 10,000 lumens with LED modules offering a color temperature of 3000 K or 4000 K and a standard CRI of 80, with CRI 90 available on request. The 3-ply microprismatic (MP) diffuser ensures excellent glare control and high uniformity on work surfaces while concealing the LED source for visual comfort. For areas where a soft, diffused light is preferred—such as hallways or collaborative spaces—an opal (OP) diffuser option is available.
The body of the fixture is made of extruded aluminum, painted in either black or grey, and visually enhanced with top and bottom PET acoustic layers. It includes a dimmable DALI driver rated for 100,000 hours at Ta 25°C with only 10% maximum failure, ensuring long-term reliability and low maintenance.
For installation, the FX65 FLOW SILENCE comes with a 2.5-meter transparent power cable and three 1.5-meter suspension wires. A ceiling cup can be ordered separately if required. This luminaire is not only a lighting solution but also a design statement that improves spatial acoustics without compromising on aesthetic or functional performance.
