The luminaires underwent rigorous testing and assessment by a distinguished panel of independent experts, comprising international designers from various corners of the world. Hyphen and View Mini secured the top prizes for design and performance in the highly competitive Lighting category. This esteemed recognition, presented by the world-renowned iF International Forum Design GmbH, marks Fluxwerx’s continued commitment to setting new standards in design and innovation.

View Mini

A re-scaled form of the minimalist architectural aesthetic of the original View suspended luminaire series that is achieved through continued advancement in optics technology, View Mini blends seamlessly with architecture.

With a form only 3.5” in height, View Mini offers exceptional performance for general ambient illumination applications. Appearing like a floating fenestration that remains transparent even when illuminated, the luminaire’s Anidolic-Extraction optical technology provides precisely controlled distributions with no view of the source, delivering exceptional visual comfort and wide on-center spacing of up to 15ft on center, 35 fc at 0.4 W/ft2.

With no electrical connections at fixture joints required, View Mini can be installed as an independent pendant or as a continuous lighting system with virtually seamless runs.

A choice of various output and distribution options allows View Mini to be used as a lighting solution in various environments and conditions. In addition, View Mini is also available with an independent up-down lighting control option that provides fully dimmable or switchable independent control of the upper and lower hemispherical distributions.

Hyphen

Hyphen carries on the small-scale aesthetics and ultra-narrow optics of Fluxwerx Portal and Lines luminaire families. Embodied in discrete 10″ or 20″ forms with an ultra-narrow, linear aesthetic, Hyphen delineates a dashed path. Available in recessed and surface, and fixed and adjustable versions, Hyphen transcends traditional general area illumination and downlighting with its unique options and exceptional visual comfort.

Hyphen is available in three high performance distributions—65° Wide, 45° Medium and a 25°x75° Narrow Ellipse. Available in a breadth of length, optical, mounting and distribution options, there is an application-based solution for every need.

The Hyphen collection of luminaires offers four distinct optical options: Single optics in 10 and 20 inch lengths, and for twice the output, Twin optics—also in 10 and 20 inch lengths.

Designed to integrate into any plenum substrate with a minimum depth of ½” and a maximum depth of 1.25”, Hyphen Recessed can be chosen in either Trim or Trimless fixed variants and an adjustable version delivering a 60° lateral range of motion. No matter which you choose, you’re never locked in.

Hyphen Surface goes even further. Single and Twin Optic Hyphen Surface feature minimalist aesthetics and unique and specific functional forms, both delivering 90° vertical-motion and 360° horizontal rotational adjustability.

Created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers, the LIT Awards was envisioned to celebrate creativity and innovation in the fields of lighting products and applications. The 7th edition of the LIT Lighting Design Awards attracted over 800 submissions from 58 countries. A distinguished panel of 45 professionals, including architects, interior designers, academics, and media representatives in the lighting industry, evaluated the entries, selecting those that exemplified outstanding creativity and innovation.

Architectural Products Magazine’s Product Innovation Awards (PIA) recognizes innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market. With judging and evaluation of products and systems from a distinguished panel of designers and lighting specialists skilled in product evaluation, the 2023 PIA program awarded manufacturers based on attributes, qualities, functionality and/or performance beyond industry standards.

Mounting + Ceiling Integration
View Mini comes with pre-wired and tested drivers that are fully integrated with power junction box, mounting and suspension components.
