The FL100-GEN2 Dynamic White Inner Mixing (DWT-IM) luminaire is a powerful second-generation flood and spot lighting solution within the FL product family. Built on the award-winning COLOR-STREAM® platform, this advanced fixture supports high-speed communication up to 6.25 Mbps—approximately 16 times faster than standard DMX. It also offers seamless 12-bit dimming with up to 40 kHz equivalent dimming frequency, ensuring ultra-smooth, flicker-free light transitions that are gentle on the human eye and suitable for high-speed video recording. The fixture operates silently across the entire dimming range and features a configurable exponential dimming curve that aligns with human visual perception of brightness.
Featuring GVA’s COLOR-AMP® technology, the FL100-GEN2-DWT-IM uses 18 quad-chip LEDs with in-optic light mixing to achieve excellent color uniformity and deliver up to three times the output of traditional multichannel luminaires. It provides precise control through two dedicated channels—one for brightness and one for color temperature—allowing smooth tuning across a wide CCT range from 2200K to 6500K. This makes it ideal for architectural wall washing, grazing, and focused spot lighting applications where dynamic white control is essential.
The fixture supports a variety of industry-standard control protocols including Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, and DALI 2, all enabled via GVA’s Power-Data Converter PDC-GEN5. Its advanced communication platform supports a refresh rate of up to 120 frames per second, delivering accurate and responsive lighting control. With GVA’s proprietary INFINITY® technology, up to 39 FL100-GEN2 fixtures can be daisy-chained in a single continuous run using sealed push-lock connectors and extended cable lengths up to 100 meters (328 feet).
Designed for robust performance in demanding environments, the FL100-GEN2-DWT-IM operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to +122°F) and is IP66-rated for dry, damp, or wet locations with 0–100% humidity. The housing is constructed from diecast aluminum with an optically clear tempered glass lens and an ultra-weatherable AAMA 2604-compliant powder coating, available in standard white, silver, and black finishes—or custom colors upon request. The fixture meets the ANSI C136.31-2018 Vibration Standard for bridge and overpass applications and is rated IK07 for mechanical impact resistance.
The compact design measures 277 mm x 305 mm x 94 mm (10.9 in x 12.0 in x 3.7 in) and weighs 7 kg (15.4 lbs). A wide range of symmetrical and elliptical optical distributions—13 in total—are available, along with optional glare control accessories and a versatile selection of field-adjustable brackets for custom mounting configurations. The FL100-GEN2-DWT-IM is backed by a 5-year limited warranty and offers a projected lifetime of over 60,000 hours (L70 @ 50°C), making it a reliable, high-performance choice for dynamic architectural lighting projects.
