The luminaire offers versatile optical distributions to meet specific design needs. A 70/30 indirect/direct distribution is ideal for spaces that require even ceiling uniformity, wide fixture spacing, and strong direct illumination, while the 40/60 distribution is better suited to open ceiling installations. Verve IV can be specified at outputs of up to 1250 lumens per foot, making it suitable even for high-ceiling applications.
Its LED system incorporates premium linear modules on a robust platform that ensures excellent thermal management and consistent long-term performance. Standard color temperatures include 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K with a CRI above 80 and a 3-step MacAdam ellipse for color consistency, with other color temperature and CRI options available upon request. The housing is crafted from a one-piece 20-gauge steel body with 5-inch die-cast end caps. For row-mounted installations, internal brackets create seamless hairline joints. Each luminaire is suspended with Y-cable systems at 48-inch or 96-inch centers, with the 4-foot model weighing 20 pounds and the 8-foot model 30 pounds. Inside, a reflector made of 22-gauge steel with a high-reflectance matte white finish and a 24-gauge steel beam softening filter enhance optical efficiency. The frosted acrylic lens further contributes to soft, diffused light output.
Electrical design prioritizes compatibility and ease of integration. Fixtures are pre-wired with factory-installed branch circuit wiring and quick-connects for fast installation. A universal 120–277V constant current driver with 0–10V analog dimming is standard, with a power factor greater than 0.9. The luminaire is also Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible, using standard low-voltage wiring and requiring a dedicated PoE node for each luminaire section. Emergency battery options provide 12 watts for up to 90 minutes of illumination at mounting heights up to 12.4 feet, and all emergency circuits are shipped standard with UL924-compliant connection leads.
Durability and reliability are built into the Verve IV. The fixture is UL and cUL listed, suitable for dry or damp locations, and finished with a polyester powder coat over a multi-stage pretreatment for long-lasting performance. The canopy is finished in matte satin white. Lumen maintenance is excellent, with reported L70 lifetimes greater than 60,000 hours and calculated performance up to 162,000 hours under typical conditions, ensuring consistent light output over many years.
In addition to its performance and construction features, the Verve IV integrates seamlessly into advanced building lighting control systems. It supports both wired and wireless networks and is compatible with a wide range of control options, including daylight harvesting, occupancy sensing, HVAC integration, and individual user controls. All zoning and configurations can be digitally reprogrammed through application software, offering maximum flexibility for energy savings, occupant comfort, and building management.
