This diminutive yet high-performance suspended and wall-mounted system introduces Onwall and Cantilever versions designed for seamless architectural integration. With its ultra-narrow proprietary optics and minimalistic form, Lines Onwall delivers exceptional performance and visual comfort, achieving efficacies exceeding 125 lm/W. Engineered to be both discrete and expressive, it enables designers to craft unique lighting expressions using short sections or complex, continuous patterns.
The system is configurable in 1 ft, 2 ft, 3 ft, 4 ft, 6 ft, and 8 ft nominal lengths, with joints, endcaps, and multi-directional pivots pre-installed at the factory for a seamless fit. These articulating pivots (available in 2, 3, and 4-way variants) provide unmatched flexibility, allowing the luminaires to intersect, merge, diverge, and adapt to architectural forms in both wall-mounted and suspended applications. This design freedom supports both discrete installations and expansive layouts that enhance spatial rhythm and visual interest.
Constructed from precision-machined, extruded aluminum and finished in powdercoat white, metallic silver, or black, Lines Onwall fixtures also support custom RAL colors, all selectable by component for tailored architectural coordination. The minimalist housing is just 3 inches high and less than a finger-width wide, optimized for new-build or retrofit installation into GWB cavity walls. Two refined endcap styles—Capsule and Flat—are preinstalled to ensure cohesive detailing.
At the heart of Lines Onwall lies a transparent vertical optical structure, engineered specifically for LED sources. These optics merge precision light extraction with architectural materials to form a lens system that eliminates visible point sources while maintaining high output and consistent color. This combination of technical refinement and visual subtlety allows Lines to perform both as a quiet backdrop and as a bold sculptural element within a space.
Each fixture incorporates high-performance LED modules with long life and high color fidelity. Available in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K, the system supports CRI ≥80 or CRI ≥90 with color-accurate binning of ≤2 SDCM. The luminaire maintains lumen performance at or above L80 at 54,000 hours, ensuring enduring quality and minimal maintenance.
Electrical integration is streamlined with factory pre-installed low-voltage cords and high-efficiency multivolt drivers compatible with 120–277V and 347V systems. The system meets key standards for power factor (>0.9), total harmonic distortion (<20%), surge protection, and inrush current (NEMA 410 compliant). Multiple dimming levels are supported, including 3%, 1%, or 0.1%. Optional emergency lighting is available via a 10W battery pack providing 90 minutes of output, and a GTD (Generator Transfer Device) can bypass dimming controls during power loss for full light output.
Designed for dry or damp locations, Lines Onwall withstands ambient temperatures of 0–30°C. To preserve finish integrity, the fixture should be cleaned using a soft cloth with only water. It is not suitable for natatorium environments or areas exposed to harsh chemicals like chlorine, ammonia, or alcohol. Environmental certifications include UL listing for the U.S. and Canada, CCEA Chicago Plenum compliance, and a Living Building Challenge (LBC) Declare label.
Lines Onwall can be used independently or in coordination with other Fluxwerx families such as Hyphen, Portal, Profile, Lines Suspended, and Cantilever.
