The J.W. Speaker Model 8415 Evolution Series is a compact 4.5-inch round LED headlight engineered for exceptional performance and versatility in ATV, UTV, snowmobile, and other off-road applications. This updated Evolution model builds upon the original design with enhanced optics, better thermal management, and a lightweight yet durable construction tailored for OEMs and aftermarket customers alike.
Delivering increased high beam intensity, the 8415 features advanced optical performance with a raw lumen output of 1,075 lumens (high beam) and 430 lumens (low beam), translating to effective outputs of 720 and 240 lumens respectively. The headlight’s beam patterns comply with DOT and ECE standards, offering high beam forward lighting, DOT low beam, and ECE right-hand low beam configurations. With a crisp 5000K color temperature, it ensures bright, white illumination for improved visibility in a wide range of environments.
The 8415’s high-impact housing is constructed from corrosion-resistant XENOY™, while a custom version with a polycarbonate housing is available for industrial applications requiring UL certification. Improved thermal management is achieved through the use of thermoplastic materials, derived from J.W. Speaker’s XD work light series, allowing the light to operate efficiently even in demanding conditions. The housing is black in color, and the outer lens is made from clear, durable polycarbonate.
Designed for flexibility, the Model 8415 is compatible with adjustable or fixed mounting options and can retrofit large vehicles. It operates within a wide voltage range of 10-30V DC, drawing just 1.14A @ 12V DC or 0.57A @ 24V DC on high beam, and 0.41A @ 12V DC or 0.22A @ 24V DC on low beam. Its robust build is tested to withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to 65°C (-40°F to 149°F).
With compact dimensions—standing 119.63 mm (4.71 in) high, 111.25 mm (4.38 in) wide, and 72.90 mm (2.87 in) deep—the 8415 is ideal for space-constrained vehicle front ends. Its standard mating connector is PE 12110293.
