The Worker Round Ceiling is a flush-mounted ceiling luminaire that combines a clean, archetypal design with high-performance LED lighting. Its downward-facing light source delivers a decorative and functional glow, accentuating the fixture’s visual appeal while creating a pleasant illumination effect. Designed with an industrial expression, the Worker luminaire is especially well-suited for hotels, bistros, and offices, but also integrates harmoniously into older or culturally significant spaces. The fixture features a proprietary light engine housed in cast aluminium, paired with a shade made from spun aluminium. It is available in two sizes—Ø400 mm and Ø600 mm—and can be used for both ceiling and wall-mounted applications, providing flexibility in architectural lighting design.
The Worker Round Ceiling is offered in six standard colours. In addition, a broader palette is available, developed in collaboration with interior architects and stylists. These custom colour options are accessible at a modest surcharge, regardless of order quantity, allowing designers to tailor the luminaire to their specific vision. A clear acrylic bayonet-style frame introduces a subtle, elegant halo effect between the luminaire and the ceiling. The light can be diffused using either opal acrylic glass or a microprismatic acrylic glass paired with a frosted film, enhancing comfort and visual quality.
The luminaire is engineered for straightforward installation. It mounts to the wall or ceiling using three screws for the Ø400 version and four screws for the Ø600. A 5x2.5 mm² snap-in terminal block ensures reliable fixed installation, with two inlet holes allowing for through-wiring. Surface-mounted cabling is also supported across a 180° span.
Worker Round Ceiling includes an integrated LED light source, available in 3000K or 4000K colour temperatures. It offers a standard CRI of 80, with CRI 90 available upon request for enhanced colour rendering. The Ø400 model has a rated lifespan of L100B50 50,000 hours, while the Ø600 version is rated at L100B20 50,000 hours. Energy efficiency classifications vary slightly: Worker 400 is rated Class E for CRI 830 and Class D for CRI 840, while Worker 600 achieves Class D for both CRI 830 and 840, according to EU Regulation 2019/2015.
The luminaire is equipped with a DSI/DALI driver that enables flicker-free, amplitude-modulated dimming from 1% to 100%. It retains programmed light settings even after a power outage and supports both SwitchDim and CorridorFunction. The driver has a lifespan of 80,000 hours and includes a pre-programmed Constant Light Output (CLO) function, which maintains consistent illumination levels over the product's life. Additionally, the DALI driver functions in On/Off mode, providing the flexibility to upgrade to a more advanced control system later.
The luminaire is lightweight and durable, with the Ø400 version weighing 2.3 kg and the Ø600 version 4.6 kg. Both sizes are available in two different power configurations to meet varying output needs. A presence detector is also available upon request, making the Worker Round Ceiling an intelligent solution for energy-efficient, responsive lighting environments.
